In general, I would expect any Zone or Link entry to work in 402 that are found in one of these files of the tzdb: africa, antarctica, asia, australasia, backward, etcetera, europe, northamerica, southamerica. vi /etc/sysconfig/clock and change the UTC line to. It would appear V8 is accepting only the subset of tzdb identifiers that are in the full Area/Locality form. I just noticed that it's rejecting many valid zones, even with a slash. V8 rejects UCT because it doesn't have a slash.We need sudo privileges to change this file because this is a system-wide configuration. Then we register (store) the copy module's results in a variable called timezone for later use.
