However… being apart of Peter’s group meant that you were also put on the map when Peter’s identity was revealed, and being famous made walking down the street in NYC very difficult. He could no longer control you as an adult.Īs the months passed, Peter became like a little brother to you and after years of feeling alone, it felt nice to belong. It was by complete accident since Happy had tried to keep you away from Stark industries and all things Avengers but once you had graduated he knew you weren’t exactly a kid anymore. You had been under Happy’s care since the death of your parents and so Happy happened to be how you had gotten involved with Peter in the first place. When you first met Peter, you never really expected to see him again, let alone turn into one of his closest friends.
You bolted before they could say anything more. “You better be fast.” MJ caved despite Ned’s squeaks of protest. There was a pause from MJ as she thought. “––That’s why we won’t tell him, Ned. I’ll be so fast you won’t even notice I’m not here and then I’ll come right back.” You interrupted Ned’s nervous ramblings. “I promise.” “Peter said we should stick together until he texts us. “No.” MJ protested as she held onto the spell box tightly. “No way.” There’s a few things at my apartment that may do just that.” You took a step back to distance yourself from the two. “Peter’s gonna need all the help he can get. “Where are you going?” Ned asked as you paused at the front door, not following the two inside. Somehow you had managed to lose your phone on your way to Ned’s house and by the time you arrived you were turning around to head to your apartment for the backup phone that Happy had gifted you in case of emergencies.
You weren’t an optimist like Peter, you knew you needed help. You didn't want to leave MJ and Ned alone, not whilst Peter was also preoccupied but you knew you had to get back to your apartment to get some supplies and try to get hold of Happy.
